Story Painting Group Ltd was founded in 1974 by Robert Story Senior to undertake a variety of decorating projects. Robert Story Senior’s son, Robert joined the company from school and worked his way through the business gaining experience in painting and decorating, managing contracts, business development, finance and health and safety and then became Managing Director in 1998.
Following the guidelines of our mission statement, Robert Story has developed the business and moved into industry sectors including hotel and leisure, retail, education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and construction.
Story Painting Group Ltd have experience in decorating the interior and exterior of many types of buildings ranging significantly in size and accessibility, always making sure that the service we deliver is flexible and accommodates the needs of the customer. We specialise in all types of decorative painting and surface protection including: airless spraying, multicolour spraying, ames taping, fire protection, exterior protection, intumescent coatings, high quality paperhanging, dragging, rolling, striping, and marbling.
Not only do we have highly skilled operatives working on our projects but they are Supervised by a IOSH qualified senior colleague and each team and project is managed by one of our highly qualified Contract Managers. As well as investing in our on site staff we have a team of skilled surveyors, estimators, and health and safety staff. We are committed to developing close working relationships with customer, suppliers and staff.
