Contract Work
The Beetham Hilton Tower is the tallest residential building in the UK. Run by Hilton International, it features a 285 bed, five star hotel and a destination ‘Sky Bar' on the 23rd floor. There are also 219 apartments directly at the top of the building. Story Painting Group carried out the internal decoration to the 219 apartments using emulsions on the walls and ceilings and epoxy coatings on the floor. There were between 5 and 55 men on site at any one time to ensure the work was completed to the required standard and within specific timescales.
Specialist Works
Story Painting Group accomplished many specialist finishes in the Hotel including:
- wallpaper imported from America
- hygienic coatings in the kitchens
- epoxy floor coatings.
ICI paints used throughout the project and high level access utilised as required.
