Story Painting Group Secure £750,000 of Business in the Manchester Area
Manchester-based Story Painting Group has recently been awarded new painting contracts worth £750,000 including the painting and decorating of Manchester Business School – part of the University of Manchester.
Manchester Business School is the largest campus-based business and management school in the UK and provides world-class business and management education and training to undergraduates and postgraduates. Story Painting will deliver its expert painting skills for the main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine – the job begins this week and is expected to last for around 10 months.
The second major new contract sees the firm paint a new Tesco store at Walkden for builders Bowmer & Kirkland and they will also travel to London to paint and decorate a new 167-bedroom Premier Travel Inn hotel. Working alongside main contractor Multibuild, painting is expected to last for three months.
Managing Director Rob Story said, “These new jobs help to demonstrate our national appeal to major construction contractors. We are making changes within our business to become more competitive as well as delivering a high standard of finish for our clients. The Manchester Business School will be an exciting project for us and continues our long history in educational facilities.”
Story Painting Group is currently involved in many varied projects across Manchester including painting and decorating at the Media City Holiday Inn, a Metrolink Tram Service Depot and multiple Manchester Building Schools for the Future projects.
